Description
Birch trees are one of my favorite trees. I love the silver white color and the great texture. The leaves are hardy but delicate and turn such a wonderful golden and sometimes red color in the autumn. I find this photo to be very peaceful and ethereal.

I love the touch of color in the single tree among all those trunks and the way it's repeated in the fallen leaves on the ground. This is beautifully done. This was one of my two pod's in the Best of Minimalism group for September 5.
